Citizens of Argentinia, Chile and Uruguay may apply for Working Holiday visa at the German embassy in Vilnius. In order to apply for such a type of visa, please read the following infor-mation carefully. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Be aware that processing time may take up to two weeks.
Please submit your application via our consular service portal www.digital.diplo.de . After a pre-check has been done, you will receive a link to book your appointment at the embassy.
The visa fee is 75€ and can be paid in cash or by credit card.
General requirements to take part in this programme:
- 18 to 30 years old (at time of submitting your application)
- A working holiday visa can be issued only once.
- Main purpose of stay is holiday and travel.
· one filled in and signed application form including information according to Art. 55 German Law on Aliens
· valid passport (valid for at least 90 days after your planned date of return)
· 1 biometric passport pictures
· visa fee of 75€ (to be paid in cash or by credit card)
· personal motivation letter (not copied from the internet) including detailed plans for your first three months in Germany
· Curriculum vitae
· proof of sufficient financial means: 400€/ month for the first three months of your stay (in total 1,200€), in addition costs for accomodation (if not by invitation), proven by bank statement of a personal account for the past three months
· accomodation: if by invitation including ID of your host, if in a hotel booking reservation for at least two weeks
· return ticket to your home country or additional financial means of 1,000€
· health insurance according to EU regulations (minimum 30.000€/ $50.000) for the entire stay including coverage of return flight in case of sickness or death
All documents have to be presented in original together with one simple copy. All documents have to be submitted in English or German language.
